Hey there, Pumpkin!

It's been a few weeks since we've been able to check in with all of you here on the blog! Sometimes, you make commitments, and life just steps in and says "no" for you. Like last week, when I was sick. I am incredibly grateful to be back this week, and while I'm still not quite back to normal I am feeling so much better!

Here at TRB, we've been staying very busy! All Summer, we've been working hard but it seems like we keep falling behind, barely able to keep up with all our customers. and that's why we are so excited to welcome another guy to our team, working with Matt and Paul in production. Andy Miller has some experience working here before, a few years ago, and a few weeks ago we had the opportunity to hire him again. Known around our home community as fun-loving, strong, and being a very hard worker, he's the perfect fit to our team and it's amazing how we have been able to up the production to fill our customer's needs with having a third guy working in production full time. Andy also has his CDL and will probably be driving the truck some, every few weeks or so making deliveries.

Welcome to the team, Andy! We are happy to have you!

And somehow,in the midst of busy whirlwind of life, September crept up on us! I don't know if you were as shocked to see it as I, but I'm quite certain you couldn't have been as happy. I love Autumn, and the first of September means pumpkins appearing on porches, sweater weather getting closer, and pumpkin pie blizzards at Dairy Queen! Nope, I am not getting paid to advertise for them. I'm just doing so because I believe every human should have the opportunity to try the great pumpkin pie blizzard in September! Everybody is talking pumpkin this and pumpkin that, but really, let's not get complicated. A pumpkin pie blizzard is all you really need. Along with September come blue skies... ahh September! You are welcome here!

Every year, dad raises a big patch of pumpkins, and sells them locally. I don't think he does it so much for a little extra cash as he does because he enjoys doing it. Last week one day, he picked them, the grandkids piling on the back of the little old chevy to see. White pumpkins, orange pumpkins, gourds... You name it. he had it.

And hey, just because Autumn is literally on our doorsteps around here, we would like to share some goodness with you! Autumn is all about being grateful, and sharing the good things God had given us with others, right? So that's why, for the rest of the week, we are going to be running a sale on our Pumpkin Butter! For those of you who have never had it, it's like apple butter, but pumpkin, and if I'm completely honest with you, it really is some pretty amazing stuff and for the rest of the week, you can get it for just $5 a jar! Make sure you grab some while it's on sale! Use the link or go to the Jams and Fruit Butters page on our website.

HAPPY FALL, YA'LL!

'til next time, ~Mary Graber
